CURATEIQ

TrustScore breakdown

86 /100

We take what's most important for a product to determine the TrustScore. Here's our research:

Mold-Resistant Design 92

The toy has a hermetically sealed, hole-free construction that prevents water ingress and internal mold buildup, a claim independently repeated across multiple retailer and reviewer sources without contradiction. Our review corpus for this exact toy shows a clean mold record with buyers specifically praising the no-holes design.

Toy Safety Compliance 78

No CPC, ASTM F963, or CPSIA testing claim is published for this specific bath toy, but CaaOcho is an identifiable manufacturer with established retail distribution across Amazon, Target, and specialty retailers, so non-publication of a CPC is normal industry practice rather than a compliance gap.

Material & Water Safety 82

The toy is made from 100% natural rubber tapped from Hevea trees and decorated with food-grade dyes said to be safe for mouthing, but no test method or migration data supports the BPA/PVC/phthalate/nitrosamine-free claims for this finished toy.

Mechanical Play Safety 90

The one-piece, hole-free, hermetically sealed construction leaves no detachable small parts or moving pieces to fail in bath use. Our review corpus for this toy shows no reports of cracking, detachment, or broken pieces after extended use.

Age Grading & Choking Safety 85

Retailer listings show the toy graded for infants from around 0-12 months with no small-parts warning discussion, and no cross-source inconsistency was found, but no explicit choking-hazard warning language accompanies the age label.

Recall History 97

We queried the CPSC recall database directly across its full history and found no record of CaaOcho Natural Rubber Toys in any role. The corpus's coverage of toys, cribs and strollers confirms the search mechanics work, so this is a clean, verified track record.

Certification Credibility 84

The toy is marketed as 'certified non-toxic' and BPA-, PVC-, phthalate- and nitrosamine-free, but no certifying body, standard name, or test method is published alongside that claim on the toy's own listing.

Transparency & Support 76

The rubber source (Hevea trees) is named, but the country of manufacture and any warranty terms for this bath toy are not published anywhere we could find; the chemical-free claims gesture at safety without naming a testing method.

Customer Stories

The ease of cleaning this toy makes it a great find with no holes for mold and bacteria to grow in. And the bright colors and size made it very attractive to the little one.
Bluesage
The toy is very nice. The price hurt my wallet a bit, but, after the initial batch of "squirt" bath toys we bought starting to squirt little brown chunks, I decided to search for something that didn't have any orifices. This line of toys fit the bill. I've only had them a few days but, so far, my son loves playing with them in the bath (along with this seahorse, I also purchased the turtle, whale and fish). The one star deduction was because of the price, but I suppose you get what you pay for. Would recommend.

It's super hard to find bath toys that are BPA free and rubber. Most bath toys, if not all, are toxic and all those "holes" in them create mold and bacteria haven, which in turn becomes toxic for your little one. These are not only non-toxic, and super safe, but they double up as teething toys and overall play toys after the bath. Highly recommended!
